The 11 Commandments

And God spoke all these words, saying:
"I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. (Which represents the world, and all of its lusts, and sin)

1) "You shall have no other gods before Me. (There is only one God)

2) "You shall not make for yourself a carved image — any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands of generations, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. (This also means not to worship yourself by giving in to every craving that your body has - drug abuse, pornagraphy, drunkeness, witchcraft, extortioners, reviler, sexually immoral, unritcheous)

3) "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

4) "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

5) "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you. (This is very important, as all are)

6) "You shall not murder. (Do not kill. Does not mean that you cannot defend yourself)

7) "You shall not commit adultery. (Do not even think, or lust in your mind about relations with other than your wife. If not married do not fornicate, to have relations with one that you have not commited to in marriage.)

8) "You shall not steal. (Even a pen - ask)

9) "You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Do not bring false accusations against anyone, or lie about what you saw, or may not have even seen but testify that you have)

10) "You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's." (Covet - to earnestly desire; to wish, long, or crave for (something, especially the property of another person); ["She covets her sister's house"]

11) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I (Jesus) have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35)

REPENT - To turn 180 degrees away from sin. To stop breaking the commandments and to stop any sin and rely on the Lord your God, Jesus to clense you from all unricheousness. Trust in Jesus after you have repented.

2 Cor 5:17
17    Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(KJV)

John 3:16

16    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(KJV)
